Our vision is to see a generation of true worshipers in India who worship the living God for who He is.
Our Mission
Our mission is to train and develop national leaders with character, integrity, and a heart for worship through leadership training and worship conferences, serving Jesus Christ in their own communities throughout India.
With 1.4 billion people, India is the second most populous country in the world. India has one-third of the world’s remaining unreached people groups in the world. God is at work in this nation and raising up dynamic leaders to carry the message of hope and love throughout the nation. This nation is a field ripe for a harvest of historical proportion and ready to embrace change. India Gospel Mission provides essential training and resources to these local leaders so they can take the message of hope and light to those who are in spiritually dark places.
Dr. Abraham Mathew leads this indigenous work. He is the founder of India Gospel Mission. Abraham Mathew is a former Assistant Vice President at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He earned his graduate degree in business administration from University of North Texas and his CPA certification in the State of Texas. Through a life transforming experience in worship the Lord led Abraham back to India with a vision to train and develop national leaders to fulfill the great commission of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We are committed to training young people in India and our vision is to see a generation of leaders with character, integrity, and a heart for worship, serving Jesus Christ in their own communities throughout India. The Institute endeavors to prepare leaders for Kingdom work and to equip them to minister to the unreached people groups in India by offering degrees and diplomas in theological and leadership studies.
Our statement of Faith is based on solid, mainline-Christian tradition. We fully appreciate the importance of accountability to our supporters and our God as we work to fulfill this vision.
