Training New Leaders

Need and Opportunity

India needs far more cross-cultural workers than the Indian churches can realistically provide. India receives only 6% of the world’s full-time Christian workers. It is imperative that national missionaries are trained and sent out as they are better suited to reach their communities and fulfill the great commission of our Lord Jesus Christ. About 400 million people in India have never heard the name of Jesus; hearts are open to the Good News like never before.  The harvest is plenty and laborers are few.

How it works

Our vision is to see a generation of leaders with character, integrity, and a heart for worship, serving Jesus Christ in their own communities throughout India. We endeavor to prepare new leaders for Kingdom work and to equip them to minister to the unreached people groups in India by offering degrees and diplomas in theological and leadership studies. We offer a program in theological and leadership studies and a two-year diploma in theological studies. The students, many of whom are new in their faith, stay on campus for the duration of their study.

Impact

Upon graduation, these students go back to their own villages and communities, and become church planters and effective witnesses of the Gospel to their own people. All our graduates are in ministry preaching the gospel, sharing the love of Jesus Christ and planting churches in their own communities.

What you can do

Our students come from very diverse backgrounds and their families are unwilling or unable to support them because of their faith in Christ. Only through your generous gift can we fully train and launch these missionaries, bringing the Gospel to new hearts and empowering local leaders to change lives. A monthly gift of $150 can help sponsor a student at the Institute — an excellent opportunity to train and prepare church planters in India.

Our vision is to see a generation of true worshipers in India who worship the living God for who He is.
