Need and Opportunity
India holds almost one-fifth of the world’s population. With 1.4 billion people, India is the second most populous country in the world. Nearly 70 per cent of the country’s population lives in rural areas, across 649,000 villages. Hindus make up 80% of the population and Christians represent less than 5% of the population. India has less than 50 million Evangelicals. India has missed out on the good news of the Gospel more than anywhere else on the earth and now is the time to bring light to the spiritually dark places.
How it Works
The graduates from our leadership institute and volunteer missionaries endeavor to further the kingdom of God by preaching the Gospel and serving Jesus Christ in their own communities throughout India. They bring the message of the liberating truth and power of the message of Jesus Christ to plant strong communities of faith that continue to grow and multiply. They have adopted a strategy of prayer walking the villages and have seen tremendous results, able to plant house churches in a short time. Missionaries also go from house to house, preaching the Gospel to the poor, proclaiming release to the captives, setting free those who are oppressed and leading the people to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
